Nico had a great foundation for Know Your Name when he brought it to me—I hopped on as the producer and engineer to help shape the track into a disco-pop banger.
We were aiming for a vibe that’s funky, fresh, and danceable, built around tight guitars, a groovy bassline, and clean pop-driven vocals. The goal was to blend retro-inspired energy with a modern sound that could sit alongside artists like Charlie Puth and Dua Lipa.
From production to final mix and master, every element was carefully crafted to feel punchy and polished, while keeping the groove front and center. The track evolved into a fun, infectious tune with plenty of bounce, texture, and movement- perfect for dancing and singing along.
